I am setting up a strip (a container) at the top of my page to display pictures, or rather the thumbnails. I would like this strip to contain a set number of the most recenty uploaded pictures (I create my thumbnails to be exactly the same size and have the box dimensions set to hold exactly six images). If possible I would rather not have the images appearing in the content of the blog as entries. Any Ideas? thanks.

2 ideas...

Send them to a specific category, have the 'box' show only that category and use one of the many plugins to exclude categories so that it is not shown in the main content area.

or

Set up a second weblog and then use php to include the photos.

If you don't want full archiving of the photos etc, I'd go with the category thing, if you want a lot more options I'd do an entirely seperate weblog for 'em and use PHP includes.

Oh Thank you so much!!! I've got the photos appearing just as I want them!!! It's working great!! I'll post a link when Everything else is up and running; just a site for my Family, not too exciting, but...

Thanks again,
