basically the question is, is it possible to have the template, look and feel of one category's archive page be different than the rest?

i have a blog were i occasionally post photos. 'Photos' is its own category. sometimes i post photos in several categories.

i would like it so that when a visitor clicks on the 'photos' category link it takes them to a page that looks more like a photo album than a straight blog.

what i'm trying to avoid is having two blogs (so that I can post entires and photos to one blog, i'm lazy , one for photos and one for the 'rest'.

is this even close to possible?
