I like to indent a new paragraph by 2 or 3 spaces but MT won't let me. Is there a tag to make the paragraphs indent?

Thanks.....

I do the same thing, but use the non-breaking space character to make it happen:

& n b s p ;

Type those 6 characters without the spaces in between ('twas the only way to get it to display!) for each hard space you want.

If you use something like w.bloggar as an entry client, you can assign a keystroke to insert 2,3, or 5 of these at once.

I always wondered what those were for!

Thanks....

You can use
CODE
[code] then
[/code]

to show coding you wish to display without any issues.

Thanks...I knew that. Doesn't work with the non-breaking space string.

Can't apply a css style to subsequent paras in blog body, so I don't think that will work (unless you want ALL paragraphs to indent). I took it the original poster wanted, as I do, to use the typographic standard that flushes the first paragraph but indents subsequent new paragraphs.
