I currently have a link that goes to my blog page on my home index of my website. I would like to put my latest entry on it. This way my vistors would not have to go to my blog page to see my latest entry.

I want to do something like CatSchwartz.com

How is this done? Can anyone help me? Thanks

The easiest way to do this is to create a New Index Template with only the MT tags that you want to show up (no HTML, HEAD, etc.). Then use PHP to include that file into your home page index.

Another option is to make your home page index be generated inside of MT, and then you can use MT tags on it.

If you need more details, post back smile.gif

Kristine,

This sounds like the answer I was looking for. I think I want to go with option 1. I am new to web development and used FrontPage to develop my site and now am using Dreamweaver to redesign it. I have two questions for you....

1) How do I creat a New Index Template with only the MT tags that I want to show up and still have it generate my main blog page? In other words, have MT generate two pages?

2) How do I use PHP to include that file into my home page? Can you give me some sample code or point me in a direction where I can find out?

Basically, I don't know how to do anything you suggested... smile.gif
