I went to power-edit mode, changed an author for one entry, and suddely all listed entries dissapeared from the site.
They all went back to draft status. I did not notice that the power edit entry list showed EVERY "published" entry as draft , submitting resulted in the small disaster.

One small detail: my MT installation uses the dutch language pack. So it said "Concept" instead of "Draft" and "Publiceer" instead of "Publish". Neutralizing the translation back to English, only for these two terms made the power editing list display the right status.

Note also that the status drop box located on single entry edit page has no problems handling the Dutch status terms.
