agglutinations
Big worries, big, big worries. I was just trying to update one of my blog entries (http://www.agglutinations.com), and all the entries just disappeared -- they didn't disappear from the web page; just from the cgi-bin/mt.cgi page where I enter all my blogs.

What should I do? I'm afraid to update my page, because I worry that all the stuff that's on my website now will be erased.

Any advice? I'm really worried about this, because a year's worth of work is on that site!

Thanks,

any errors? do you have a recent export of your blog? do you have a recent backup of your database?

You might check with your host to see if anything has changed on your server as well.

Well, actually I don't have a very recent backup of my database. I did back up about 2 mos. ago, but I've done a lot of updating since.

I've never exported the blog, because I don't know how to.

I'm think what I need to do is back up my database AS IS onto my hard drive, since the individual blogs (and their contents) are actually still there. The problem, however, is that as soon as I update my blog the next time (through the cgi-bin/mt.cgi file) MT will think that there are no blogs already on file.

Is there a way of opening a new blog and then importing old blogs, that is to say, the individual blog entries and not the blog manager itself?

I will also try contacting my webhost.
