There is a fix for this issue in this thread.

Hi members,

after installing TM i found that all characters in any entries are converted to codes (for example, phrase "Íó ñêîëüêî ìîæíî!" was converted to "Íó ñêîëüêî ìîæíî!" in codes (forum doesn't allow such codes to be inserted in posts)). This behavior is correct with most Latin languages, but complete inccorect with ALL other languages such as Russian, Bulgarian, Greek and so on. Is there any way to turn off this unwanted feature?
