I'm getting the following message after I save a new entry:
Ping 'http://www.movabletype.org/update/' failed: HTTP error: 500 Can't connect to www.movabletype.org:80 (Timeout)
Is this a problem my end?

I get the same type of error when i try to ping
http://blo.gs using the auto-ping function...

My problem has now resolved itself. I don't know whether this is with MT's intervention - it just all started working OK!
