I am having trouble with my MT 2.61 installation. It has been working fine for ages but now I am seeing the following error:

"Can't use an undefined value as a SCALAR reference at lib/MT/ObjectDriver/DBM.pm line 373."

This occurs when I try to navigate to a web log from the front screen, there are five blogs set up within my installation.

I have upgraded from 2.4 to 2.61 in an effort to resolve this problem (it was there before the upgrade) but, sadly, it hasn't gone away.

The only way I can enter the Weblog management screen for my journals is to click 'New Entry', none of the other buttons will allow me access.

I cannot save an entry without seeing this message although the entry does seem to save, it just isn't built into the published page.

Furthermore, when I try to rebuild 'All Files', I get the same error message.

My blog and blogs that I am hosting for friends have all come to a standstill. Any ideas or suggestions would be most gratefully received.

Thanks

PS

Occasionally, I seem to get past the above message but see this one instead:

"Building entry 'entryname' failed: Build error in template 'Date-Based Archive': Error in tag: Error in tag: You used an MTEntryDate tag without a date context set up."

Now I am really confused.

Bad news: Your database is corrupted.

Can you get an export of your entries without errors?

Oh! That's not good! I have exports of the weblogs but they are recent and will, I suppose, include the errors.

I suppose there is a way that I can identify the errors? There are thousands of entries in these blogs, is there a way that I can automatically scan them for errors? What sort of thing should I be looking for?
