I got the flood-control spam-guard error when trying to post a comment to my own blog, even though nobody had commented to my site in 40 or 45 minutes!! My dad also got the same error (has gotten it repeatedly). At least one person has been able to sneak in a comment or two, but overall, my impression is that my flood-control has gone haywire. What could be causing this, and how can I fix it? Comment-spam is bad, but this is worse!!

Have you changed a ThrottleSeconds setting in mt.cfg recently?

No, I haven't touched ThrottleSeconds ... I saw a thread about that somewhere here on the forum, but I figured this must be a different issue, because no one would possible set ThrottleSeconds to 45 minutes
