Does anybody know a way to specify which indivudial entry archive template to use based on an entry's category?

i've been trying to figure this out too because i'd like to do something akin to kottke where i can post just a short, concise link to something instead of having a bulky regular entry... or a link round up... if only there was a ifcategory tag or something...
