what i would like to do is add previous and next navigation links in my category and date based archives.

previous category | current category | next category

and

previous month | current month | next month.

i tried a seach, but couldnt find anything

The default templates have next and previous built in for date-based templates, so if don't have that code still there, you can snatch it from the default.

And for next/previous categories, the Supplemental Category Tags plugin is great.

Thanks Kristine those helped muchly. I've got it 99% like I want it. Just one little thing I couldnt figure out. I want to show the MONTH in which the cateory is on.
