I just installed MT, and it works great. The only annoyance is that the editing boxes on the "Create New Entry" screen are quite narrow -- about 20 characters. Obviously, this makes it hard to edit entries.

Is there a way to make this space wider?

That usually means your MT interface stylesheet isn't working correctly - check out MT Wiki: New Entry Field Too Narrow

Are you seeing the other styles in the MT interface? Like the colored bar at the top of the page? You can see how it should look in this screenshot
