Do you HAVE to have Individual Archives enabled in order to use the Extended Entry link? I have tried MT EntryLink and Permalink, but I can't get the Extended Entry field contents to show.

I am using Category as my preferred archive type.

I am using MYSQL db and have this in mt.cfg:
DataSource ./db

Is that right?

I have no db directory because as I read the instructions, with MYSQL you don't need one. Am I wrong about that?

Edit: Shoot, I had the code messed up in that section. I'm surprised it ever rebuilt! It still won't go to the right spot in the article, but I can live with that. Sorry. Close topic.

I tested this out with someone else having some problems with it. All that you need to do is go to weblog config - preferences and make category the default archive type, and have category archiving on.

Then the 'read more' tag will take you to the category archive using an anchor tag. If you have modified the templates, set up a test weblog and play with this with the defaults, it should take you right to the post.
