the other day someone left a comment on my blog and used a semi-colon in the email address box
now, the comments that are coming in are not being posted - they simply don't show up
i do know i have them because i receive email notification
how can i find a specific comment entry and delete/modify it?
usually you would be able to do this in the manage blog section, since they're not showing up, i don't know where to look
any and all help would be greatly appreciated

Do you know which entry the comment was posted on? You can delete the comment from the edit entry screen.

Are you using MySQL? Maybe you could edit that comment in the database to remove the ; there.

Long time no see, mamselle!
Do you still have the comment from before the troublesome one listed in the "Five Most Recent Comments" block on the "Manage Weblog" page? If you do, what do you get if you just click the link to edit the last shown comment, then change the URL to one comment id number higher? Once you are at mt.cgi?__mode=view&_type=comment&id=8004&blog_id=1, just changing &id=8004 to &id=8005 should get you to the next comment's edit screen.

hi phil! and girly - thanks for the help
phil, i found the entry and took out the ';'
nothing changed in the comment dept.
then i deleted the whole thing
and can't find any of the comments that came after that one
it gives me the error:
load failed
perhaps i'm just destined to not have any more commentaries for the blog
if you can think of anything else i can try...please let me know!!
thanks again!
