maybe i'm imagining things, but i'm pretty positive that whenever you are creating a new entry or editing an old one or even working with templates, there are little buttons above the top right corner of the typing box (i.e., what i'm typing in now) that say "url", "ital", etc. and allow you to create hyperlinks or italize your text.

all of a sudden, mine seem to have disappeared. i've tried multiple browsers and even resetting my computer, and they're just gone.

has this ever happened to anyone else? everything else seems to be working perfectly.

The buttons are visible only in IE for Windows, or Mozilla, if you've hacked your MT installation. What browser are you using? Have you previously hacked for Mozilla, and since upgraded for MT files? smile.gif

And they were only ever visible on the Edit Entry screen, not while editing Templates - as far as I know. But then, I don't use either of those browsers, so I could be wrong. smile.gif

I searched the archives, but I can't seem to find that earlier post. Can you direct me to the instructions for fixing this for Mozilla?

Thank you!

Blogzilla: Rich Text Editing For Movable Type.

I found that again by searching google - lots of bloggers tend to post about things they do to their site, so google is always a good option when searching. smile.gif However, a forum search for hack AND mozilla AND buttons (or variations) should have done it. smile.gif

Hope that helps. smile.gif

Yes, it really did help.

Sorry about the long delay, and...
Thanks,
