I am wrestling with the options of having multiple blogs for each "section" (e.g. links, reviews, news, etc.) on my site, OR putting them all into one blog and having multiple templates which break them by category.

Both options seem to have advantages and disadvantages, just wanted to know what people have experienced and settled on.

I use blogs when I need sets of archiving options, categories when I really don't need multiple archive types for the subject matter.

ie: my writing I needed categories within it, so used a weblog. Photoblog same, plus I use totally different templates for it.

I have bout 7 categories in my main weblog as well. =)
