Hi- something I've run into recently...

We have an 'intrablog' (*ouch*) for sharing interesting stuff between colleagues - it is set up to ask for a password through the 'Integrated Windows authentication' function on Windows IIS.
Now, when a user enters his Windows password the blog pops up, but when he switches to the 'edit' environment and enters his MT credentials, he keeps getting the MT login page over and over... some sort of credentials conflict, I guess.
Any clues out there how to configure a private blog? Deleting cookies did not help. sad.gif

One thing to check is that the URL being used to access MT is the same as that for the CGIPath, plus the mt.cgi bit, containing the www. So, if the login URL is http://www.yoursite.com/mt/mt.cgi, then the CGIPath is http://www.yoursite.com/mt/ (all lowercase, with the www, and and trailing /). smile.gif

Hmmm... everything points to where it should be...

Do you know of another way to add password protection to a complete MT blog?

Tx 4 your help, btw...

The way we do it is just to password protect the folder the blog lives in. Our hosting provider (AQHosting) gives us a site management tool called cPanel and it has an option to add usernames and passwords to access any particular folder. Seems to be working fine.
