I'm totally new to MT and I was wondering if there is anyway to associate different entires with different templates. In other words if my main page only contain 1 entry (the most recent entry) and i want the ability to change the look of my website depending on the entry i post ... is there a way to do this.
It would be totally cool if someone could help me with this

A great deal would depend on the level of distinction you're looking for.

There isn't really a way to say "for this entry, use this template, and for that entry, use that template".

But it would be possible to set up distinctive styles in the stylesheet that can be called (for example) by category or by author name, or by using an unused field such as Keywords to specify a stylesheet class you want to use.
