I've been using MT for a long time, and am having the same problem as lynnedurham.. my error message reads a bit differently and before I follow the instructions left on that post, I thought I'd ask for an opinion from someone who knows much more than me.

The problem began thursday an hour or so after I posted, I contacted the host immediately. They said 'It thinks your script is trying to hack us. It will run on our other
server, please confirm the move.'

That was at 2.51pm Thursday and I've yet to hear back after multiple inquiries as to what's going on and whether or not it is being worked on. I haven't been with this host long, but until this they are super prompt and always fix issues that have come up. It's got me wondering if the problem is one they aren't understanding. (scary but possible)

Here's the error as it comes up on my site :

Got an error: install_driver(mysql) failed: Can't load '/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.1/i386-linux-thread-multi/auto/DBD/mysql/mysql.so' for module DBD::mysql: /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.1/i386-linux-thread-multi/auto/DBD/mysql/mysql.so: cannot enable executable stack as shared object requires: Permission denied at /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.3/i386-linux-thread-multi/DynaLoader.pm line 229. at (eval 4) line 3 Compilation failed in require at (eval 4) line 3. Perhaps a required shared library or dll isn't installed where expected at lib/MT/ObjectDriver/DBI/mysql.pm line 48

If anyone has any insight, I'd love to be able to 'help' my host along with some instructions or questions..

I'm a neurotic obsessive compulsive freak when it comes to being unable to work on my projects. sad.gif

Please help before I go postal on my dogs! (There's no people near me to go postal on hehehe)
