So I upgraded to 3.0 and got a "typeky token". I stuck it in the config, but now when a user tried to comment, he gets:

"The site you're trying to comment on has not signed up for this feature. Please inform the site owner."

What the heck?

Are we even allowed to talk about 3.0 here? It seems this forum is sadly dying - this is a major tragedy!!!

TypeKey isn't matching up the weblog URL that you entered there with your weblog's actual URL.

Without knowing your actual weblog URL and what URL you entered in TypeKey, it's hard to give specific suggestions on what you should do.

Some suggestions that have worked for other people:

1) Make sure URL entered at TypeKey's web site has a trailing slash (i.e. http://www.mydomain.com/).

2) Use the root domain of your weblog instead of a full path if your weblog is not at the root of your domain. Example: If your weblog is at http://www.mydomain.com/blog/, use http://www.mydomain.com/ in TypeKey.

3) Try using the CGIPath you used in mt.cfg. Example: http://www.mydomain.com/cgi-bin/.

Of course it is allowed to talk about 3.0 here. A large percentage of the questions asked and answered here currently are about 3.0. The traffic here in the forums is less than what it has been in the past, but I wouldn't say that it's dying. With the release of 3.0, paid MT users now can open help tickets and get assistance directly from Six Apart rather than having to post their questions here.

Thanks! Now it's acting weirder though. Now, when you click "sign in" it just pops you back to the page:

http://www.eqtip.com

That's my URL.... thanks!

Your TypeKey appears to be working fine for me, but on some browsers (like IE for Windows), you have to refresh the page after logging in or out of TypeKey.

You can make a couple of changes to your Individual Entry Archive template as described in this thread to resolve the issue.
