Bad ObjectDriver config: Your DataSource directory ('./db') does not exist.
I tried installing Movable Type 3.0. I'm 100% certian that I used DBI::mysql as my object driver and that it was correct. Now, I know people have been having similar problems like this and I have tried everything that I knew of. I even tried removing the # symbol before db, db user, and db host. Every cgi script was Chmoded to 755, the config is right, and everytime I run mt-check everything seems to be okay. I have no clue whats wrong. If anyone is willing to help me, it would mean a lot. Thanks.

did you uncomment DataSource too? if so, comment it out again. It's not needed if you're using MySQL.

If you have the MySQL options setup correctly, MT will ignore the DataSource line. You don't have to worry about commenting it out.
Please post the database info that you are using in your mt.cfg file.

be sure your mysql database info is at the top of your mt.cfg file... right after CGIPath and before DataSource.
I was having this same problem and this solved it for me.
Hope it does for you, too!
