When commment registration is enabled, you can choose to deal with those registrations in two ways. When this option is checked, a new user's comments will go into a holding tank until you manually approve that individual. Subsequent comments from the same recognized commenter will be posted immediately. When this option is unchecked, commenters will be auto-approved; but you can still ban any commenter later on.
