The curse inside the blessing is that our devotion to the company and present work has hampered our ability to spend as much time on the forum as we've been able to in the past. I know that when I am able to find time for a "fly-by", I regrettably see a lot of questions that are going without answers, and that's hard for me to accept. This forum has always been an incredible resource for the community, and I wish that the support team could still be as involved as we were before to help maintain that.
The reality, though, is that there just aren't enough hours in the day for us to be in all places. I do see a lot of regulars here helping out others, and that's a wonderful thing. What we're hoping is that we can find a few kindred souls out there who would like to more formally assist in maintaining our forum as a viable place for users to find help.
With that in mind, we're seeking some special people in the Movable Type user community to become more involved here as Forum Leaders.
What we're looking for:
- Intermediate to advanced Movable Type skills and experience
- Demonstrated ability to research answers that aren't immediately obvious
- Positive, helpful demeanor
- Excellent communication skills
- Evangelist attitude about Movable Type
- Willing and able to volunteer time on the forum on a regular and consistent basis
- Receive special recognition in the community
- Interact directly with the official Movable Type support staff
- Be eligible for discounts on Six Apart products and services
- Have the opportunity to participate in beta testing
- Be considered for featured site promotion on our Professional Network
