I am currently running Movable Type 2.661 on my website. Due to the dynamic page options now available in Movable Type 3.11 I am thinking about upgrading. However, the one major thing that is holding me back is the fact that I have mutiple plugins installed and I am not sure if any of them can be used with 3.11.

I currently have the following plugins installed and in use: archive anway, comment leaders, MT Macros, MT Closecomments, and MT Blacklist. I do realize MT Blacklist will have to be upgraded, but as for the others I have no idea about compatability. I really need to know this before I upgrade seeing as major components of my site rest upon the functioning of these plugins.

Sorry if I am missing something obvious, but I would rather be safe then sorry concerning my upgrade.

Your plugins should work with MT3 (I'm not aware of any incompatibilities other than the need to upgrade MT-Blacklist as you noted), but you will not be able to use plugin tags on MT3 dynamic templates. (In order to use plugin tags on a dynamic template, the plugin has to be rewritten in PHP, and to date, practically none have been.)

I have been fighting this problem as well, but have slowly been finding some PHP solutions to my Perl plugin problems.

For the plugins your currently running, I can't offer much more than this link to a replacement for commentleaders.

lol you gain dynamic pages, but lose plugins lol. Ya cant ever win. Well at least I can upgrade safely as far as we know. Thanks for your help!
