I'ved updated the plugin here.  It now caches rss feeds for a default of 30 minutes as well as adds a lastn parameter to MTRSSFeedItems.

I wrote a simple that lets you load RSS Feeds into your templates using a set of template tags.  Its really just a prototype, but it does seem to work well.  Right now the only problem is that it doesn't cache the feeds yet, so it will reget them each time you re-build your file(s) that contain the tags.

I'm planning on adding the other attributes as well.  Right now it has channel title, channel url, channel description, item title, item description, and item url.  All of these have conditional statements as well to check for their existence.  Let me know what you think.

Another update (0.3).  This fixes the parser crapping out on invalid RSS documents (it even fixes some of them).  Plus some more tags were added (cache date and rss langauge).
