i just upgraded to mt 3.1 and im trying to remember how to set everything up (its been a while since ive done any of it)...and i have a cpl of questions

i have a folder in my htdocs folder named "archives" and if you go to thebluesite.com/archives its just a listing of my old mt entries that i couldnt get to export (db problem). so, now when you click on the date of my test entry on my main page

it takes you to my custom 404 page. not sure how to set it up where this goes to the individual entry page like it should (i checked ALL the boxes under archives...daily, weekly, monthly, etc)

thats what it takes you to when you click the time (5:50am)...it should be creating that page that has the title of the entry and date, but its not for some reason??

also- when i go to comment on that entry, i hit "post" and it also takes me to that same missing page

but it DOES show 3 comments posted on that entry, and when i click comments i can see the comments.

im very confused as to what im missing here, what i forgot to add.

anyone know what im doing wrong? would really appreciate help with this.

one more thing- when i click "continue reading" where i wanted to test the extended entry...it ALSO takes me to that missing titled entry page

okay. nevermind with that. i figured out that i needed to make the archive location mt/archive

that works now...but now i cant see the text of the entry or the comments unless i highlight them.

i cant figure out if the css file im using is doing that, but i dont think it is , because it all shows up fine everywhere else.
