I was working on my 3rd blog when, yikes, suddenly the content entry field stopped displaying in the site view. The entry (I had only one and it was posted today) is listed in the management menu and is also still editable. It simply does not display.

Thinking I had gone too far in my tweaking, I backed up my work and then replaced templates and stylesheet with the originals. No dice. I tried deleting the weblog and starting fresh. Still no dice. The problem is apparently not rooted in the the stylesheet or templates. What else could it be?

Everthing still works fine in the older two blogs. I backed everything up. I have plenty of space on my server. I modified the MTEntries tag with lastn=1. A forum search yielded no other ideas, other than DB corruption ... yikes again.

I'm wondering if indeed my DB is corrupted, since the problem is only in display? Your thoughts would be most appreciated!

I am getting the same issue. A client of mine has not been able to post to his weblog I set up for him in a week. I can view all posts in mng menu but it does not display on the blog. I truly hope someone has an answer for this one.

I'm experiencing what seems to be a similar problem...my archiving is monthly and for the last week my site has been displaying the old moveable type version numbers on the index page and my entries only up to the end of October (when I upgraded).

The links to my archive pages work, I can get to my November entries by going into October and forward from there, but my index page looks like the upgrade never happened and November has disappeared completely.

Help!

I really need some help on this. No entries are being displayed on the weblog. They are showing in the managment menu's but not on the blog pages. I would also like to know how much rework will be involved in correcting this issue.

thanks

With some humiliation, I must admit I found the fix to my own prob ... it helps to "publish" the entry :-) Perhaps this admission will save others some trouble.
