I was running MT 3.01D, and suddenly my index page was not updating. New entries would show up in XML feeds and in the archives but were not popping up on the main page. I upgraded to 3.121 and its still not updating. I've tried rebuilding the index several times, both in the developer version and the new version, but, alas, I can't change my blog. Does anyone have any idea as to what is going on?

In youre templates section, where it gives you three options of building, play around with those. I have checked "build only archive templates dynamically"

That did the trick for me!

That didn't fix it, heh. But I did see when I went to my templates page that the heretofore-unseen "Build w/ indexes" option had been mysteriously toggled off.

My geek friends tell me that dynamically updating pages each time they're loaded puts an unnecessary strain on server resources and can lead to site outages; anyone wanna sound off on this?
