I've set up a photo gallery with MT and I would like to be able ti display the number of views an entry has gotten underneath the photo thumbnail (on the category arthive page, which is how I have things organized).

Is there any way to show the number of views or clicks an entry has gotten?

MT does not provide any way of tracking page views. You'll need to add a hit counter or similar programming device. There are many different kinds of counters out there, as you'll discover if you do a Google search for them.
