I would recommend trying it out and seeing if it works; if it doesn't, it's a bug, and we'll fix it. :)

Simple question, and I think I know the answer, but I want to confirm before I go messing things up.

If I choose to display the lastn entries on the main index instead of X days, and I normally have an MTDateFooter, what happens when the nth entry is in the middle of the day?

example:  I have each day surrounded by a table, and the HTML to close that table is in MTDateFooter.  I am displaying the last 5 entries.  The 5th and 6th most recent entries are on the same day.  Will MT know to insert the MTDateFooter after the last (5th) entry?

It's kind of a question about the order in which MT does things when it builds an index (I assume it does it right, but I want to make sure)
