Currently this would require hacking the system; if you just have one blog, you could hard-code in the URL to send in the ping; if you have more than one, you'd either have to hard-code in some conditional logic, or add a new field to the MT::Blog object for the "ping URL".

Is it possible to set up MT to ping Weblogs.com with a different url than what's set in the MT blog config?

I use a URL forwarding service for my weblog, but my MT config URL is the actual URL of my site (which I don't want to use to ping Weblogs.com with).

Can this be done?
