It would be kind of nice to have a column in the Power Editing Mode that would allow the user to see what the current comment status (open/closed/none) is in individual posts...an change them.
I know there are plugins available to do mass changes...but it just seems to be a feature that's missing.

Thought I'd add a "me too" to this, since it's the most recent thread in "desired features" requesting this, and it's several months old now. I figure a little thread resurrrection just might be in order.

You might want to check out the
PowerEditFeedback plugin, which does exaclty this (bearing in mind that closed/none/open isn't applicable to Movable Type 3.2 - it's just open/closed).

I've installed this, and it does work. On the other hand, it seems like overkill to run a rebuild for 6700 or so posts just to pick up the 10 or 12 at a time I want to close.
Is there a plugin that restricts the rebuild to a preselected set of entries?

I've since noticed that it's possible to go though the Entries list and check a box for Rebuild, but what I'd dearly love is to be able to rebuild exactly those entries I just tweaked in the PowerEdit box without having to go through another selection process.
Still, it's better than stepping through the entries one at a time.

Another option you might consider, is
the AcceptCommentsPings plugin, which adds an accept/unaccept option directly to the Entries screen (which you can also filter to find just the entries you want).
