I've tried this plugin...
http://www.sixapart.com/pronet/plugins/plu.../imageinfo.html

But unfortunately it uses an outdated perl lib that isn't capable of reading EXIF from my images.
(I use Photoshop to save my jpeg images)
Other exif readers are able of reading the EXIF, tho... it's ONLY Image::Info that's not capable of doing this.

Does anyone know of any other ways to extract EXIF and integrate it into my photoblog ?

I am using the same plugin, and it works with exif info from files written by Picasa. Photoshop CS has a bug - it does not retain exif information sometimes when u export the images to jpeg for web.

People keep saying this... that PS doesnt save the exif.
But my experience tells me it's a completely different story.
The exif is still there, but it seems to have "moved" to other places in the header (or the tags were slightly renamed) ; other exif readers are still able to read the exif after saving the images with PS... try file properties in windows explorer - it will easily read the exif from Photoshop jpegs.
Hell, even PS is able to read the exif after opening jpegs that were previosuly saved with PS!

The problem here seems to be that the per lib this plugin requires... it's dated back to 2003... this is stoneage... it simply has gone old and stale (and smelly).
Many cameras and programs uses new and different tags and places the exif data in other areas in the header... or at least it seems that way.

I have found several other perl scripts that easily will extract exif from my Photoshop files, but I cannot find any way to integrate it into my MT powered photoblog.

Hi there, I just wondering how you guys make this tag more dynamic???

<MTImageInfo img="[MTBlogSitePath]/images/BrokenWindow.jpg">
<$MTImageInfoField name="all"$><br />
</MTImageInfo>

for eg, how do I replace the "brokenwindow.jpg" with a tag so I can retrieve the filename in each entry???

any help would be appreciated.
thanks.

Take a look at MTEntryBasename in the User Manual. I believe that should do the trick.
