I am new to RSS and have some questions. I use RSS Bandit and it successfully connects to the index.rdf of my MT, which is the first step.

I am not finding much documentation on the index.rdf and what it does for me.

Here is what I want to do, please let me know of any links you may have, or any expert advice you may have.

I would like for my site to send me an RSS Feed anytime someone adds a new article to my blog, AND if anyone comments to an existing article on my blog.

Does the index.rdf do this for me? Being new to this, what is the easiest/best way to get this setup?huh.gif?

How can I add that RSS feed (orange) icon to my main page, so others can add the same to thier readers?huh.gif

Thank you in advance!!!!!

Hi, your best bet is to read this tutorial which will explain everything from what RSS is to how to use it smile.gif

In addition to the article mentioned by Arvind, there are several articles on Learning Movable Type and Movalog. You can find these articles easily with the help of MTLookup.

MTLookup search: RSS
