Am I allowed to shift this thread up to the top again?

You may want to check out this thread as well: More Entry Edit Buttons as it covers some buttons that Tim Morgan added to his blog entry screen. Perhaps you can follow his template and add your stars as another button at the top of the entry area. I haven't played with it as of yet but the idea has me intrigued.

I am setting up a diary where I will need to use the same pictures over and over again, but I was wondering if there was a way I could edit the scripts so that I could just type :4stars: instead of < IMG SRC="http://.... etc. out every single time, like in a message board when a script translates :) into an image without having to write out the whole code? Thankyou!

We will probably add a way of doing simple macros like this in the future; it's on the todo list.
