I'm having a problem with the Future posting feature. Here's what's going on:

I've set up a cron job and it's working. I know it is because the posts' status changes from Future to Publish.

But ... it appears that my Main Index template is not rebuilding automatically. The post does not show up on the main page, even after it has changed to "Publish" status. It does, however, appear on the Date-Based archive pages and in the Category archive pages.

Incidentally, I also have a feature in the sidebar that excerpts the last 10 comments. It, too, should be rebuilt automatically but does not.

Does anyone know why the archives are rebuilding automatically but the Main Index is not? Thanks
