Full Version: Flash/XML Blog

I'd like to create a Flash interface for a Movable Type blog, but I'm really not sure where to begin.  I know that I probably don't want to output my blog as HTML files, so I'll probably have to change my index and archive templates to output to XML, I think.

Has anybody done this successfully?  I've seen one example of a simple Flash MX-based blog (http://www.samuelwan.com/mainmenu.swf) that doesn't allow either commenting or pinging (a.k.a. TrackBack) but I'm still using Flash 5.

I had it working for a while... www.flashkit.com has some examples, but I didnt spend enough time to set it up with comments, and trackback wasn't out yet when I did it.  Basically you convert all the files to xml, which is possible, and have it output in flash.  Go to the examples on flash kit and there is a downloadable example
