I maintain an MT installation for a friend who emailed me a couple of days ago to say she couldn't login. The site is hosted at textdrive.com.

We've tried requesting a new password but it seems that whenever we login with a correct username/password combo MT just returns us to the login page. If I supply a wrong username I get an "invalid login" error as I would expect.

She was running 3.16 and so I upgraded to 3.2 but still get the same problem, only this time it's mt-upgrade.cgi giving the error rather than mt.cgi. I even tried a fresh install of 3.2 in a different location but with the same database and still the problem persists.

I've done some searching but haven't seen any reports of anyone else having this problem. Anyone have any pointers before I start digging through the code to work out what's going on?
