Sorry to say, but it seems RC3 does exactly the same thing to new posts (attach them on to random old threads) on my computer anyway.....  I've got an annoying cookies question to ask.  Would you like me to try and post regardless, or do something else (e.g. e-mail you or Ben directly)?

Plain and simple, the Ikonboard version that we installed is buggy. This is why new posts are inserted into old posts (same post IDs) and some of you are having log-in problems.

We're planning to upgrade the board tonight to Ikonboard RC3 -- hopefully, a much more stable version. Expect the board to be offline around 12:00 am PST.

You guys should upgrade yet again. Ikonboard 3.0.1 is out and totally stable. Try it.
