I just installed mt in a folder of my main site (www.mysite.com/thisfolder) and in the Admin area the css is not showing up. I've installed mt before and never had a problem, but I just need someone to help me on how to get the back end to find the CSS. The front end has no problem finding the CSS file.

Thanks, in advance,

Tom

Knowledge Base: Images, Styles, and Documentation Do Not Show Up

Have all the files in the /mt-static/ directory been uploaded in the correct mode (Binary for images, ASCII for everything else)? If you browse to the location of the files on the server, are they visible (ie, not corrupted, no missing files, permissions errors)?

Thanks!

I posted a little too soon. It's late and my mind is playing tricks on me. The problem was that in the mt.cfg file I put the wrong path for the static files.

Now that I've taken someone else's time, I'll go find another thread and return the favor. Thanks!

I have a question along these lines as well.

I am using StyleCatcher to handle my styles and I know I have my paths within it set correctly. However, when I click on a style to view it the thumbnail is not working. So, I clicked on "Show Details" and I see the link to the theme's CSS file is incorrect.

What it thinks the URL should be is this:
CODE
http://mt.fnoff.com/mt-static/theme-vicksburg_violet/theme-vicksburg_violet.css

However after the /mt-static there should be a /themes directory listed.

Am I doing something wrong? The themes automatically install to that /themes directory and I can't change that....

Suggestions?

Anyone have a fix for this yet? It's been a month and no replies.

Hi, Just saw your post...

Click on "show settings" in the right hand column next to StyleCatcher on the Plugins page.

Your URL should be: http://www.example.com/mt-static/themes/
and your root path: /path_to_mt-static/themes
