MT is great for spam and such. But, on a blog with thousands of commenters, it is just too bloody easy for one commenter to leave comments under another commenter's name, creating all kinds of havoc and uproar over who said what.

Without having to register every commenter, what would be great is to create a lookup list of assigned names which commenters cannot leave comments under unless that name matches and ISP or a PW is provided to confirm identity.

The administrator then could reserve staff's and known frequent commenter's names for them, and prevent them from being duplicated in comments by others.

Anyone have any idea on how difficult this feature would be to add?
