I have been using MT for almost three years, been through every edition. Between editions MT has gotten more sophisticated, and one of the things I love about MT 3.2 is the archives system.
I have one problem though.. My blog is in Icelandic, and the Icelandic language has several letters which do not exist in the English alphabet. To name a few I can for example note the following letters:
QUOTE
Ö,ö - Þ,þ - Ð,ð - Ó,ó - Á, á and so on.
Some of the Icelandic letters are better than other, for instance when I name a category Annað (which means other in Icelandic) the category will be named "anna" which is a name. But when I name another category Fréttir (which means News in Icelandic) MT will sanatize it to "frettir" by changin "é" to "e" which is the desired effect.
MT takes out some letters, and correctly changes others. Instead of making rules for MT to correctly change (not delete) some Icelandic letters, you could insert a Basename for the categories. By that, people such as myself, could use the categories function to the max (which I would love to do).
Best wishes,
