Why Sixapart doesn't update the localization file for MT?

Current MT 3.2 offers date display in 18 languages. That is awesome, but no support for Russian language. It is the language of the biggest country in the world.

Also, there is no way to change the calendar's start day (Sunday to Monday) from MT's control panel.

I wrote to Sixapart about 5 times and never got an answer from them. I even offered the translated and fully localized version of MT. How come?

I am more then willing to help. This forum is the last place where I hope to get in touch with MT developers. You guys simply don’t answer my emails.

I *do not* have a handy answer to your question, but I find it VERY interesting. If you find such a tool please let us know.

Also, I would VERY much like to translate my website into Russian but I don't know of such a tool. I studied the Russian language forseveral years but it would take me too long to translate everything now...

I do know of a tool that can translate websites into several other languages; I will start a new topic for it so as not to ruin this one.
