I have seen this question posted twice, and never responded to. I thought I'd re-start the discussion smile.gif

It seems to me that a logical part of a blogging engine that offers unlimited blogs and unlimited authors would be to have a mechanism where authors could register themselves. I don't want to have to be an administrator and add everyone and their blog...am I missing something?

Is there a plug-in to do this? Is this a feature that is in the product roadmap? How do Administrators currently address this issue?

Thanks!

It seems like this question is as popular this time as it was the other two times it was asked. sad.gif

Oh well, still a great product. Looks like I get to add Movable Type Administrator to my resume...sigh.

Im also looking for this feature, where users will register themselves to have their own blog site. I have a community site and i want every members to have their own blog, i dont want to add authors individually, rather, they will register indivudually to have their own blog.

I havent installed movable type yet because i still don't know if they have this feature.

Can anyone help? How can this be done? Any site that accomplished this? I hope movable type can be a full community blog system as well like multiply.com or friendster.com.

I hope someone can reply with this request.

Thanks.
