Help! During the past week, two of my sites have been hacked (1st time in ten years that has ever happened to me). Anyway, my hosting company noticed that some of my MT files had their permissions set to 777. In looking at them, I've discovered that these are only directories pertaining to categories. Apparently they seem to have changed on their own. Is there a setting, somewhere in MT to prevent this from happening? If so, where is it and what do I need to change?

Okay, I'm now convinced that it's MT that's causing the problem - not only does it create directories with permissions set to 777 but also files set, appropriately, to 666. In both cases these settings allow files and directories to be world writable. Ugh! I'm going to search for a way to change MT settings so that this doesn't happen, just in case I'm not successful, any ideas?
