I decided to make a change to my individual archive template (simply moving the trackback info to underneath the comment info instead of it being above, where it is now).

I clicked 'Save' and got a 406 error reading "An appropriate representation of the requested resource /cgi-bin/mt/mt.cgi could not be found on this server."

This has never happened before, and I have been making changes successfully to all my templates over time. I can save all my other templates, archive or otherwise, without this message or any problems. I haven't changed any settings or paths. I don't understand what this message means or what the problem might be.

If anyone can help I would really appreciate it - because if I ever want to change anything in that template now I am buggered!

My site: http://fo-to.catbc.com

I am running MT 3.2, with no external plug-ins, only what it comes with. It is running on mysql.

UPDATE:

I have contacted my host provider. They have informed me it is due to a filter they have had to put in place due to some nasty hacking. I am not sure why it is only applying to this one template though ... but I think I have found the cause.

I hope they don't have to keep this in place indefinately. Most frustrating.
