does anyone know what might cause this problem? I am new to mt...

I am also new to MT around 2 weeks and was going nuts with the same issue...but i found out how to fix this problem.


do this after every published entry even if it is only in the archive:

1. Click and go to 'Templetes'

2. Click on 'Main Index' to open and edit, but don't edit anything

3. Go to bottom of page

4. Just click on 'Save and Rebild'

5. check your site and it should be on the front home page

You should be all set

mufonix - who is your web host? Do you have dynamic publishing enabled? Could you take a look in mt-config.cgi and see what LaunchBackgroundTasks is set to?
