On the Movable Type interface when you are creating a new entry and want to upload an image, MT offers two options on how to save the image file.

By default the radio button checked is to "Create a new entry using this uploaded file" arrrgh! This has nabbed me so many times... especially when uploading multiple images.

If you do not change the default selection it will wipe out your existing entry if you have not saved yet. Saving causes it to post and I don't like to post till I am satisfied with my new entry.

Question: Can the folks at MoveableType change the order and automatic selection or no auto selection made?

You can change this by editing: tmpl/cms/upload_complete.tmpl (*). You will find that radio button at line 109 in 3.2. Just remove the checked="checked" (or move it to the second radio button).

(*) Be sure to back up your files before you begin editing in case you make an error.
