I'm using MT 3.15, and I've been getting more spam than usual. I thought I'd try to install Brad Choate's SpamLookup plugin, and so I downloaded mtspamlookup-latest.tar.gz from his site. I followed the instructions about new directory creation in mt/spamlookup, mt/plugins, etc. and set the permissions for the two files (sltool and mt-spamlookup.cgi) to 755, leaving the rest at 644.

I then logged in to MT, and I don't see Spam Lookup on the Main Menu under plugins. Am I missing something here?

Doesn't the latest version require MT 3.2?

Supposedly it was incorporated into MT 3.2, but the standalone still works for earlier versions. At least that's how I read it. I'm willing to be enlightened by management.

The standalone looks to work with 3.1x versions of Movable Type. I don't have an older installation of Movable Type to look at to help you out though. sad.gif

Is it possible for you to upgrade?

I'll look into it, thanks, but in the meantime, perhaps someone does have an older version?
